Building Materials Outlet
A Habitat ReStore is a retail outlet where quality new and like-new building materials are sold at discounted prices. Proceeds from the ReStore helps fund the construction of Habitat houses within the community. In addition to raising funds, ReStores help the environment by rechanneling good, usable materials into use.
Materials sold by the ReStores are usually donated from building supply stores, contractors, demolition crews or from individuals who wish to show their support for Habitat. Not only does the ReSore provide low cost building materials to the public and a source of funds to build more Habitat homes, but it provides a way to keep usable materials out of land fills.
There are currently over 400 ReStores across North America, the ReStore model has been very successful for Habitat for Humanity Affiliates.
Products and Materials
The ReStore has a variety of materials and our inventory is constantly changing. Our products range from windows and doors, to carpet, vinyl, and laminate flooring. We also have select cabinets, millwork, and hardware. As the ReStore grows we hope to provide more and more options for our customers. Find out how to contribute or volunteer at the ReStore.
